4. Home Health Aide

$14 per hour

Some patients have certain health conditions that require constant nursing assistance, but they are not serious cases with the need to stay in the hospital, and they prefer to get the care within their own places. This is where you as a nursing student come to the story since if they have specific prescriptions and therapies, there is not much to think about, just to be responsible for giving them everything they need on time. There is some formal training to become a home health aide, but in general, they are not mandatory. Of course, if you go through one, it will just help you get the job faster and easier. This is an excellent summer job, since it is done at home and you don’t need to deal with more patients, but only one.
