This is also one really exciting, but rather demanding and responsible job. You will need to communicate with doctors and nurses constantly, since there are many tasks that you are required to do, such as; moving patients throughout the hospital, on stretchers, hospital beds or wheelchairs, at some points even from one side of the hospital to another. You need to be very careful, because if something goes wrong, you need to react immediately. Besides this, you may also be in charge of bringing patients to the x-ray or into an operating room. Generally, you don’t need a specific certification for being a transporter, but if you get this seasonal job, you will need to go through the training that lasts only a couple of days.
