5. NYC Parks
Coming in at the halfway point of our list of 10 beginner swim lessons for toddlers and kids in NYC, we have NYC parks with their “Learn to Swim” program. It is always quite hard to beat free when it comes to cost, and NYC Parks offers its swimming lessons for free to its registered recreation center members. If you are not a member of the recreation center you will not be eligible for the program. Now that said, securing a position in a session is no easy task, as you need to keep an eye on their registration website, and register on time to participate in a lottery. If you are lucky enough, you will have the chance to enroll.
