YouTube is an incredibly helpful invention. It provides tutorials on almost anything, songs, comedy and other entertainment for a worldwide audience. And did you know that it was created just short of a decade ago in 2005? It’s now one of Google’s subsidiaries and allows users to upload, share, rate, view, and comment on videos. Its ad program has turned amateurs into sensations and bored teens into successful entrepreneurs who make money doing what they love, some of whom are included in our list below.
We searched for similar lists of most interesting YouTube channels, and then we decided to list a few channels that would cater to any and all personality type, from brainiac to musician. This channel provides you with all the information you need from how to grill a steak to how to remove viruses from your phone. They have several languages available, as well.
9. ASAP Science
Learn practical science applications from two bright young men with videos like “What If You Only Drank Soda?” and “Which Came First- The Chicken or the Egg?” Concepts are broken down with simple doodles throughout their videos which will leave you dripping with scientific trivia knowledge.
8. Laura in The Kitchen
This list wouldn’t be complete without a cooking channel, and who better than Laura Vitale? This spunky Italian cook introduces delicious, simple-ingredient recipes with fun-filled and easy tutorials on how to create them. She even came out with her first cookbook last year.
7. The Piano Guys
Ironically, this features both a piano and a cello player who tour the world to create intriguing music videos. They’re incredibly talented, too. Their version of “Let It Go” is almost as good as Elsa’s.

This Spanish comedian will have you rolling on the floor with his hilarity. He recently began a Soccer Dads series and his Marriage Life one is rather on point as well, we must say.

Rhett and Link specialize in hilarious comedy songs and takes. They also run another YouTube channel entitled Good Mythical Morning which has over 9 million subscribers.
3. Pentatonix or PTXofficial
This rising acapella band, which first came on the scene in 2011, has over 9 million subscribers on YouTube, and over a billion views. The quintet may be most famous for their Christmas songs, but sings a wide range of music, even soundtracks, and classics like “Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy.”
2. Miranda Sings
This internet character was created in 2008 and is portrayed by the talented Colleen Evans. She specializes in hilariously poor song and dance performances and recounts her interesting daily adventures. You might recognize her by her quirky and sideways smile covered in the brightest of red lipstick.

A little similar to the ASAP Science channel mentioned earlier in the 10 awesome YouTube channels to subscribe, How Stuff Works is oozing with practical knowledge on everything from health to psychology.
