Jacob Doft co-founded long/short equity hedge fund Highline Capital in 1995 and is responsible for overseeing the investment activities of the firm. Highline Capital, whose unique culture is based on creative thinking, originality, and teamwork, focuses on complex long and short investment opportunities in the public equity markets. Prior to forming Highline Capital, Jacob Doft was employed at Gleacher & Co., a New York investment bank, where Jacob Doft gained experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and private equity investments. Jacob Doft received an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and a BS in Economics, cum laude, from the Wharton School. Jacob Doft currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ramaz School.
