The country boasts subtropical forests, refreshing waterfalls, and a fascinating culture that makes your detour worth it. On our safety tips, one must refrain travelling to areas near the border for there’s a threat from militant groups and drug trafficking. Another tip that is already too obvious for us to know is to take responsibility of the gadgets and jewelry we bring with us. Sure you don’t need a 24-k necklace when roaming around the fine-looking city of Asuncion.
